What is your hot tub or spa you want to say,

!±8± What is your hot tub or spa you want to say,

Emigrate to correct your health or use hot tub, and now you do not know something. In both cases the water is cool, dip one that works a little 'fun or nothing at all. The spa area is dead.

If a digital system in the spa or hot tub with a superior control digital, you must first be seen in the upper display to check to see if I tell you what is happening. Looking at your top control, or to find shortcuts or even how FLO SN1 "----". What do these symbols meanand abbreviations?

The symbols and abbreviations are returned to the control as the top spa error codes. They tell you that the spa has a situation in which they recognized then tries to identify. Manufacturers of equipment is used by several different codes to certain conditions of thermal self-system to identify matches.

We are two systems of spa-get to find most of the questions. Sundance Spas Balboa controls and checks.

Balboa, one of the most common spacontrols manufacturer, uses the following codes.

pd = power, the device works with battery backup

OH = Sensors reading 112-118 degrees

Flo = Improper flow or pressure failure

Fresh water temperature = 20 degrees below the setpoint

ICE = freezing was observed

SN1 = Hi-limit sensor failure

SN3 = temperature sensor malfunction

LOC = Interlock - can pump or ozone spike

Water temperature (----) = unknown.(Appears when the spa is first turned on after charging).

Sundance Spa, one of the largest spa manufacturers used the following error codes.

ILOCA = Interlock - can pump or ozone spike

FLO = malfunctioning pressure switch or flow failure (system-specific).

Keep = flow (heater is disabled. Pump can be disabled).

Hold = Panel buttons are sometimes too fast.

HOT = PCB temperature above acceptable limit - Blowerof.

ICE = freezing.

GNP = The communication between the card and the card is defective.

(----) = "Watchdog" (spa is deactivated) A problem was detected. (The system can not identify)

SN1 = OPEN SENSOR (heater disabled) or shorted sensor (spa is deactivated).

SN3 = open or shorted SENSOR (heater disabled).

(This is not an exhaustive list and your spa error codes may vary depending on year and model).

Note the similaritiesand differences in the codes. Both use the FLO, SN1, SN3, and ICE, and so on, the differences are (----). Meaning completely different things between the two systems. You must use the error codes to control accurately diagnose the problem with your well-being.

Let's take a quick look at the error code FLO. Both manufacturers provide FLO is caused when a malfunctioning pressure switch or flow switch. This may be the case in many situations, but it is my experience that theNumber one cause of a spa with the error code "FLO" is a dirty filters or worn.

(Some manufacturers try to limit the error of FLO, with different code display, ie a solid or a flashing FLO FLO (FLO error flashes every so often).

Flashing FLO = heating is switched off, switch on the pump and flow / pressure are open. (This means that the system recognizes the spa has asked the heat, the PC-card network, used by the pump, but held no waterflow. Switch the heater to prevent damage to the heater).

FLO = solid pump is off, flow switch or pressure is closed. (Meaning, the system should scale not seen water since the PC card does not have the power to apply the pump, but they say that the pressure flow that the flow of water. The flow or pressure in the closed position or Short circuit is blocked.)

A dirty filter may be worn or more error codes are displayed. "OH" (fire), because the water does not movefast enough to ship through the heater and the upper limit for detecting the temperature of hot water. "FLO", because the filter does not allow enough water to allow resistance to flow through the vessel or pressure. The filter should be replaced about every six months or a year if you use two different filters. The filters should be washed thoroughly every month, and properly cleaned every 3 months or so.
